最寄駅へと歩いているのだから、出勤の途中だろう。
前方に女の子が歩いている。
OLかもしれない。学生かもしれない。
やや離れており、後姿だけではわからない。
短いスカートが揺れ、白い脚が小刻みに動く。
その女に近づかんと速足になる。
いつもの急な坂道がいつもより急な上り坂になる。
いやいや、これは尋常でない。
ほとんど垂直に近い。まるで崖だ。
彼女のスカートの中を覗ける位置にありながら
自分自身が転がり落ちそうで、それどころでない。
どうにかこうにか坂の上までたどり着いた。
その崖の上みたいなところに立ち、しばしとどまる。
背後に倒れたら真っ逆さまに落下する。
しかし、せっかくなので前進するのも惜しい。
もう前方を歩いていた女の子のことは忘れている。

A Steeper Slope than Usual
I'm walking to the nearest station,
so I'm probably on my way to work.
A girl is walking forward.
She may be an office worker,
she may be a student.
She's a little farther away,
and I can't tell from her rear view alone.
Her short skirt sways and her white legs wiggle.
I'll be her quick to get closer to her.
The usual steep slope becomes
a steeper uphill than usual.
Well, this is unusual.
Almost vertical. It's like a cliff.
I'm in a position to look inside her skirt,
but I'm about to roll down, not so much.
I managed to reach the top of the slope.
I stand on the cliff and stay for a while.
If I fall behind, I will fall head-on.
