ところが、優勝した力士は着物を着ている。
浴衣でも羽織でもなく、いわゆる町人風情の着物。
どうやら優勝力士、しきたりを心得ていないらしい。
ただし、まだ許される範囲なのだろう。
相撲協会の会長であろうか、偉そうな人物が
表彰状やら優勝トロフィーを手渡そうとしている。
しかしながら、問題が発生した模様。
どうも受賞者の立ち位置がふさわしくないようだ。
かたわらに
「もっと右へ」などと小声で指示を出している。
これから
方位だとか順番だとか品格だとか
とにかく国技ゆえ、しきたりがうるさいのだ。
「どうしたらいいのですかね？」
呆れたことに、土俵下の師匠に尋ねている。
あらかじめ教わっていなかったのか。
それとも、教わったくせに忘れてしまったのか。
ともかく、伝統の重みは浮き上がってしまった。
神聖なる土俵のムード、台なしである。
