ここは学生寮みたいな下宿の一室。
子どもっぽく見える後輩たちと一緒。

なにやら賛美されているような気配。
「そんなことないよ、富士の高嶺」
謙遜しながらも、受けを狙う。
みんな、期待どおりに笑ってくれた。
宴会の最中だったか、いくらか酔ってる。
それぞれ個性的だが、小粒というか
展開の幅が狭く、まず大成しない感じ。
「よし。こんなのはどうだ」
紅一点の女の子を奪い合うゲームを提案する。
「あら、いやだ。こまっちゃうな」
彼女、まんざらでもなさそう。
「よし。まず、おまえ行け」
「はい。ぼく、行きます」
速記を勉強中の男が女の子の頬を軽くたたく。
「どうだ。まいったか」
女の子は平気そう。
「あら。こんなの、なんでもないわ」
やがて彼女は新入りの毛深い男と結婚して
そのうち退職しちゃうんだよな。
先の展開を知っているかのように嘆息す。

Fuji's High Ridge
This is a room in a boarding house
like a student dormitory.
I'm with juniors who look childish.
"Hi senior, you are amazing."
Somehow I feel like they are praising me.
"That's not the case, the high ridge of Fuji."
I humbly aim for the reception.
Everyone laughed as expected.
I was in the middle of a banquet
or I was a little drunk.
