発明品の紹介 「コンパス杖」

今回、紹介させていただく発明品の「コンパス杖（づえ）」は
足の不自由な方かた向けのこれまでにないタイプの杖つえです。

２本の杖が間隔を置いて一体となった構造。
基本の形状は、物を挟はさむ道具、トングに似ています。

では、使い方を説明しましょう。
まず、中央上部を片手または両手でつかみます。

次に、一方（いっぽう）の杖を突いて他方（たほう）の杖を少し浮かせ　
そのままコンパスのように弧を描えがきます。

動かした杖の先を適当な位置に着地させたら　
そこを支点として、反対の杖を持ち上げて弧を描きます。

この動作を左右交互に繰り返すことにより
２本足で歩くようにコンパス杖が前進します。

こうして、左右どちらかの杖、または両方の杖によって
常に体を支えられながら安心して歩けます。

使用者の足と合わせ、安定の四足（よんそく）歩行と言えるでしょう。

１本杖（づえ）において杖全体を持ち上げて場所を移すような
一時的にせよ杖が荷物になるようなことはありません。

ただし、普通の１本杖づえと同じように使うこともできます。
１点でなく２点で支えるため、安定性はより高まります。

たとえば、立ち作業や階段を上る時などに役立ちそうです。

その他、左右の杖の間に水平バーを設（もう）けることにより
全体の構造を補強し、立ち上がり補助機能も持たせます。

さらに、その水平バー上部にフックを設ければ
そこにバッグなど重い荷物も掛けられます。

これにより、電車の床に立つような不安定な状態でも
それなりに安定が得られると同時に、
手や肩への負担が軽減されます。

また、ひねりによる先さきゴムの摩耗（まもう）を軽減させるため　
杖の先端は遊びのある可動式の先ゴムを想定しています。

Combined with the feet of the user,

There is no such thing that cane will be packed
temporarily, such as lifting the entire cane
in one cane and moving the place.

However, it can be used just like a normal cane.

Because it supports with 2 points instead of 1 point,
the stability will be even higher.

For example, it seems useful
for standing work and stairs.

In addition, by installing a horizontal bar
between the left and right canes,
we reinforce the whole structure
and also have an auxiliary function for getting up.

Furthermore, if a hook is provided
at the top of the horizontal bar,
heavy loads such as bags can be hung there.

As a result, even in an unstable state like standing
on the floor of a train, stability is obtained as it is,
and the burden on the hands
and shoulders is alleviated at the same time.

Also, in order to reduce wear of the tip rubber due
to twist, the tip of the cane is assumed
to be a movable front rubber with clearance.
