実家の玄関先にて
母と兄とが揃（そろ）い

上がり框（がまち）の上に立つ
次男である我の

行いの至らぬをなじる。

我も相当に怒（いか）り
理（ことわり）をもって反論するに

はて、心張（しんば）り棒はどこへやら。

到底通じぬ。

At the entrance of my parents house
My mother and older brother gathered together
And accuse me of my deed
Which is the second son who stands on the rising stile.

I am quite angry
To argue with reason
Where is the tension stick going?
