オフィスにてデスクを挟んで同僚と向き合っている。
作業をしており、見つめ合ってるわけではない。
配置換えの最中で、引出しの中を整理していたら
もらい物のペンスタンドを見つけた。
色々な筆記具が収納されており、多機能。
なかなか立派な見栄えだ。
すると、向かいの男もペンスタンドを突き出す。
「どうだ。こっちの方が立派だろう」
なるほど。異なるタイプながら筆記具が多い。
しかし、強引な理由をつけて全否定する。
すぐ隣の席には元同級生の女がいた。
彼女はまだ独身だそうだ。
きらいではないが、彼女と一緒になったら
という話の展開にだけはしたくない。
Multifunctional Pen Stand
I'm facing a colleague at the office across the desk.
We are working, not looking at each other.
During the relocation, I found the pen stand of the ugly thing,
as I was organizing the inside of the drawer.
It contains various writing instruments and is multifunctional.
It looks pretty good.
Then, the man on the other side also sticks out the pen stand.
"How is it? This is better?"
I see.
There are many writing instruments though different types.
However, with a compelling reason, I totally deny it.
There was a girl of former classmate in the seat next to me.
It is said that she is still single.
I don't hate her,
but I don't want to just talk about it when I get along with her.
