狭い個室に入る。
ドアを閉め、内鍵をかける。
外からドアをノックする音。
入っているという意味でノックを返す。
すると、女の声がした。
「ノックでなくて、声で返事してもらえますか」
ためらいつつも自信をもって
「入っています」
それで女は引き下がったようだ。
いつの間にか内外が逆転。
体育館のバレーボールコートに立っている。
彼女は今、個室の中で何をしているのか。
Inside and Outside the Door
I enter a small private room.
I close the door and lock it.
The sound of knocking on the door from the outside.
I return the knock in the sense that I am in it.
Then there was a woman's voice.
"Can you reply with a voice instead of knocking?"
I hesitate to reply with confidence.
"I'm in."
So she seems to have withdrawn.
Before I knew it, the inside and outside were reversed.
I'm standing on the volleyball court in the gymnasium.
What is she doing in her private room now?
