病院で診察を受けている。
どうやら眼の手術をせねばならんようだ。
「データはそろっているので安心してください」
女医の遠隔操作でベッドが起き上がり、
そのまま電動車イスになった。
車輪が勝手に回転して診察室から廊下に出る。
自動運転で入院中の病室に戻るようだ。
車イスは後ろ向きに移動していた。
廊下の床に自分の枕を発見。
ベッドが車イスになったためにズリ落ちたのだ。
あわてて車椅子から降りて枕を拾う。
自動運転の電動車イスは病室に戻っていた。
いやはや、こんなことがあったのだ、と
同室の入院患者に話して笑ってもらうつもり。
Electric Wheelchair
I am being examined at the hospital.
Apparently I have to have eye surgery.
"Please be assured that we have all the data."
The bed got up by remote control by a female doctor
and became an electric wheelchair as it was.
The wheels rotate freely and
I go out of the examination room into the corridor.
