その隣国から、使者がやってきた。
美しい瞳の小柄な少女だった。
国王謁見の席で、使者の口上。
「踊り終わる時、ついに平和ぞ訪れん」
そのまま使者は、静かに踊り始めた。
それは素晴らしい踊りであった。
汚れた心が洗われるようであった。
人々の喜びが歓声となった。
重い鎧を脱ぎ、剣を折る騎士。
笑いながら泣き出す大臣もいた。
使者の踊りは、いつまでも続いた。
その夜、隣国の大軍が攻めてきた。
そして、夜明けとともに
使者の踊りは、静かに終わった。
