Secret Getaway
As I passed through the forest, there was a square.
It was a playground for children in the neighborhood.
Because there was a mountain behind the temple,
there was a way to continue from the cemetery.
I built a house at the end of this square.
It was a digging hut built with logs and dead branches.
It was my modest secret getaway.
A rainy show began on that summer 's day.
"You are great, no rain water leaks at all."
She was a girl in the same school.
"Yeah, I made many leaves."
Rain sounds hitting the ground seemed to applaud.
"Look, see that."
"what?"
It was a snake.
A black snake crawled.
It got wet by a large grain of rain
and it was shining brightly.
It slowly crosses the ground in front of our eyes.
It does not look somewhere here.
"He is impressive, it's amazing."
I could not say anything
until the tail hid behind the weeds.
