北向きの窓の端っこに観覧車が見える。
（あれっ？ あんなとこに遊園地、あったっけ？）
いやいや、あるはずがない。
窓に近寄る。
すると、観覧車のように見えた巨大なそれは
地面から離れ、空を飛んでいることがわかった。
西から東へ向かって放り投げられたように弧を描いている。
（台風にでも吹き飛ばされたのかな？）
やがて、それは旅客機のように地面に墜落した。
遠くて音は聞こえないが、大惨事だ。
あの辺りには、たしか同級生の女の子の家があったはず。
自宅の庭にも四角なコタツの板みたいなのが
やはり西から飛ばされて転がってきた。
わけがわからないながらも
とにかく急いで避難しなければならない気がする。
しかし、その前に謎を解明するため
あのコタツ板みたいなのを拾い上げなくては。
窓を開け、庭に降り立つ。
そして、そのまま立ち尽くす。
あの観覧車みたいなのがまっすぐこっちへ向かって
大迫力で転がってくるのが見えた。
