もどかしい音頭

ミシン目でつながった１枚の書類には　
２件の請求額が記（しる）されてある。

それを役所の窓口に提出して手続きをしているところ。

「片方の分しか支払ってませんね」
パソコンのモニター画面を見ながら受付けの女性職員。

「ああ。それはですね････」
過去のやり取りを思い出しながら説明する私。

両方やる予定だったが、実際には片方しかやらなかったのだ。
だから支払いも半分だけ。

けれども、なかなか込み入った事情があり　
うまく内容を伝えることができない。

もどかしい。
どうやらボケてきたらしい。

それで、もどかしい音頭（おんど）を踊りたくなったが　
あいにく、そんな変な踊りは知らない。

まったくもって、もどかしい。
もどかしいったら、ありゃしない。

ああ、こりゃこりゃ。

Frustrating Lead

Two bills are written on one perforated document.

I am submitting it to the window of the government office
and doing the procedure.

"You're only paying for one part, aren't you?"

A female receptionist said
while looking at the computer screen.

"Oh. That's..."
I explain while remembering past exchanges.

I was supposed to do both, but in reality I only did one.
So my payment is only half.

However, there are quite complicated circumstances,
and it is not possible to convey the contents well.

I'm frustrated
Apparently I was dumbfounded.

That made me want to dance the frustrating lead,
but unfortunately, I don't know such a strange dance.

Absolutely frustrating.
It couldn't be more frustrating.
