なにやら土壁の傷のようなものが
あちらこちらに散在している。
だが、よく見ると、それらが動いている。
しかも徐々に大きくなる。
どうやら虫の巣に遭遇したらしい。
節足動物の無数の脚がもぞもぞ蠢うごめいている。
絶望的な予感と悪寒がする。
片手ほどの大きさの虫の群が足もとに落ちる。
そのままこちらに這い寄る。
クモかもしれない。
ゴキブリのような気がしないこともない。
手の甲になにやら触れた。
必死に腕を振る。
うなじに冷たいものが落ちてきた。
あるいは、この生臭い雨はヒルであろうか。
イカの塩辛のような水たまりができる。
裸足なので踏んではいけない。
しかし、それとは別のものを踏んでしまった。
とぐろを巻いたヘビ。
おそらく冬眠明けのマムシであろう。
悲鳴をあげ、飛びのいて逃げる。
ところが、逃げ切れない。
ぬらぬらしたタコまで這いずってくる。
カエルのように跳びはねもする。
おぞましさが頂点に達する。
なのに、いまだ目覚める気配はない。
Spooky Insects
Something like scratches on earthen walls
are scattered here and there.
But when I look closely, they are moving.
And they get bigger gradually.
Apparently I encountered an insect nest.
The innumerable legs of arthropods are moving weirdly.
Desperate premonition and chills.
A group of insects as large as one hand falls to my feet.
As it is, it approaches while crawling towards me.
They may be spiders.
I also feel like cockroaches.
I touched something on the back of my hand.
I desperately shake my arms.
Something cold was falling on my nape.
Or, is this raw rain a habit?
There is a pool like salted squid guts.
I am barefoot so don't step on it.
However, I stepped on another one.
A snake with a coiled tuna.
Probably hibernating mamushi pit viper.
I scream and fly away.
However, I can not escape.
The wet octopus is crawling.
It also jumps like a frog.
Awkwardness reaches the top.
However, I still have no sign of waking up.
