小学生の夏休み。
うるさいほどのセミの声。
段数を数えながら神社の石段をのぼる。
いつも多かったり少なかったり。
鳥居には縄が巻いてある。
頂上には古い社が建っている。
その社の床下にもぐる。
床は高く、造作もない。
隙間だらけ、暗くもない。
アリジゴクの巣がいくつもある。
それを観察。
夏休みの自由研究。
アリが這っている。
いくら待っても這うばかり。
その一匹つかまえ、巣に落とす。
滑る砂のすり鉢。
必死にもがく働きアリ。
ウスバカゲロウの幼虫、あらわれた。
食べるものと食べられるもの。
それを眺めるもの。
夢中になって見下ろしていたら
よだれが垂れ、巣が壊れてしまった。
つまんない。
もう家に帰ろう。
床下から這い出て、立ち上がる。
林に囲まれた境内はすり鉢そっくり。
空を見上げる。
黒い雲。
狛犬の眼がちょっと怖かった。

Ant Lion
Elementary school student's summer vacation.
A loud voice of cicada.
I climb the stone steps of the shrine
while counting the number of steps.
Always more or less.
A rope is wound around the torii.
An old shrine is erected at the top.
Go under the shrine floor.
The floor was high and easy to do.
It's full of gaps, not too dark.
There are many nests of ant lion.
I observed them.
Summer vacation free research.
Ants are crawling.
They are just crawling, no matter how long I wait.
I catch that one and drop it to the nest.
Slipping sand mortar.
Desperately hardworking ant.
The larvae of ant lion appeared.
Predator and prey.
I as a viewer of it.
If I was crazy and looked down,
the drool dripped and the nest broke down.
It's boring.
Let's go home already.
I crawl from under the floor and stand up.
The grounds surrounded
by forests look exactly like mortar.
I look up at the sky.
Black clouds.
The eyes of guardian dogs were a bit scary.
