闇の中をひとり、手探りしながら歩いている。
建物の床下、半分ほど地下みたいなところ。
なにやら胎内くぐりのようだ。
それにしても、なんだか疲れたみたい。
床の上に横になり、少し休もう。
すると、突然の轟音。
顔のすぐ近く、重い金属の塊が落ちた気配。
その破片らしきものが口の中に飛び込んだ。
あわてて立ち上がり、見上げる。
ヘルメットを被った作業服の男が
一階の床であるところの天井を工事中。
鼻歌まじりにハンマーで叩きながら
鉄骨部分の解体作業をしている。
抑えられないほど腹が立ち、おれは怒鳴った。
「ふざけるな！ あやうく死ぬとこだったぞ！」
やっと男はおれに気き、わけわからない様子。
もっとも、おれがここにいる理由なんか
おれ自身にもよくわからない。
ちょっと喉が痛い。

Narrow Grotto
I am walking in the dark while fumbling.
Under the floor of the building,
half a place like a basement.
It seems like a narrow grotto.
Even so, somehow I seem to be tired.
Lie on the floor and let's rest for a while.
Then, a sudden roar.
A sign of heavy metal lumps fell short of my face.
Those fragments fell into my mouth.
I rise up in a hurry and I look up.
A man with work clothes wearing a helmet is under construction
on the ceiling which is the floor of the first floor.
While singing, he is working on dismantling the steel frame
while hitting with a hammer.
I got angry enough to hold back, I shouted.
"Do not be silly! I was about to die!"
The man finally caught me,
he seemed to not know the reason.
However, I do not know well why I am here.
My throat hurts for a while.
