波の枕

誰もいない砂浜。
海水浴シーズンにはまだ少し早い。

サンダル脱いで裸足になり、波打ち際に立つ。
手に持っているはゴム製の水枕。

この中に海水を詰めるつもり。
海水入りの水枕。

なかなか素敵じゃないかしら。

海原に浮かぶ夢とか見れるかも。

ところが現実、甘くない。

割れた貝殻踏んでよろめいて
そのまま波にさらわれ海原へ。

気が付いたら、かなり沖合。
私は泳げない。

水枕を持ってて助かった。

空気を詰めて栓をして
浮き袋にしちゃいましょう。

そうしましょう。
そうしましょう。

ああ、流される。
どこまでも流される。

そのうち眠くなってきた。

海面に仰向けに寝て
頭の下には水枕ならぬ空気枕。

波を枕に見る夢は
魚の夢ではあるまいか。

Wave Pillow

There is no one sandy beach.
