彼女は死んだはずの僕に出会った。
つまり僕たちは、互いに自分は生き延び
互いに相手が亡くなったものと信じていたのだ。
「私、あなたの葬式に出たわよ」
「僕なんか、君の死に顔を見たぞ」
「そんなの嘘よ」
「そっちこそ」
どうも話が合わない。
互いの記憶が喰い違っている。
「だって、私があなたを･･････」
彼女が言い淀む言葉を僕は直感できた。
「いや違う。僕が君を殺したんだ」
ふたりは互いに見つめ合う。
その表情を別にすれば
まるで昔の恋人同士のように。
Meeting Suddenly
Suddenly we met.
It was an impossible encounter.
When I met her who was supposed to be dead,
she met me who was supposed to be dead.
