下校途中の小学生の女の子だった。
あんまり可愛らしかったので
俺は衝動的に誘拐してしまった。
通りすがりに、むんずと小脇に抱え上げ、
そのまま自宅まで駆け足で持ち帰ってしまったのだ。
しかし、さすがに誘拐はマズかろう。
仕方ないので、俺は言い訳として
彼女の家庭教師をしてやることにした。
「ところで、君の名前は？」
「あたし、ぱんちゃん」
「えーと、何年生？」
「小六だよ」
「得意な科目は？」
「国語！」
「苦手な科目は？」
「うーん。算数かな」
そういうわけなので
算数を教えてやることにした。
分数の足し算くらいなら教えてやれるはず。
「使ってる教科書、見せて」
「うん。いいよ」
ぱんちゃんは、赤いランドセルから
算数の教科書を出してくれた。
「ここの問題、わかんないの」
「どれどれ」
日本の国旗「日の丸」は、旗のたてと横の比が、２：３。
同じく、円の直径と旗のたての比が、３：５です。
では、横の長さが１ｍの旗を作る場合、
旗の中心に半径何㎝の円をかけばよいでしょうか？

彼女、ちょっと軽蔑するような目付きになったが、
マンガの量に驚いて、すぐに本棚に跳びついた。
やはり、まだまだ子どもである。
俺は、なんとか算数の問題を解くことに成功した。
「さて、仕事が片付いたぞ」
「ねえ、センセー」
「なんだ？」
「エッチなマンガ、ばっかりだね」
やれやれ。
「あのね、ぱんちゃん」
「なーに、センセー？」
「答えと同じ長さのもの、見たくない？」
「見栄はるな！」

Kidnapping
She was an elementary school girl on the way to school.
She was so cute that I impulsively kidnapped her.
As I passed, I held her up aside and ran to home.
But as expected, kidnapping will not be allowed.
Since it can't be helped, as a good reason,
I decided to do her tutoring.

“I am Pan-chan.”
“Well, what year in elementary school?”
“Sixth grade.”
“What are your favorite subjects?”
"National language!"
“What subjects are you not good at?”
“Well. Math.”
That's why I decided to teach her Mathematics.
I should be able to tell her how to add fractions.

She put out a math textbook from the red school bag.
