目覚めたら、両腕がなくなっていた。
これでは目をこすることもできない。
頬をつねってみることもかなわない。
あるいは夢かもしれないというのに。
起き上がろうとしたが、両脚もなかった。
これでは起き上がることもできない。
助けを呼ぼうとしたら、声が出ない。
喉も口もなくなってしまったらしい。
しかたがない。
寝なおすことにした。
ところが、まぶたまでなくなっている。
まぶたがないのに、何も見えない。
おそらく両目もなくなっているのだ。
耳もなくなっているかもしれない。
なぜなら鼓動や呼吸の音も聞こえない。
何か他にもなくしてしまったに違いない。
わからないけど、もっともっと大事ものを。
Missing Things
When I woke up, my arms were gone.
With this I can not rub my eyes.
I can not even pinch my cheek. Or it may be a dream.
I tried to get up, but I didn't have my legs either.
With this I can not get up.
If I try to call for help, my voice does not come out.
The throat and mouth seem to have gone.
It can not be helped.
I decided to back to sleep.
However, the eyelids are gone.
I can not see anything without my eyelids.
Perhaps both eyes are gone.
Ears may be gone.
Because I can not hear beat and breath sounds.
I must have lost something else.
I do not know but more important things.
