水辺にて

一匹の蟹が水辺を這っていた。
そこに一匹の亀がやってきた。

「やあ、カニさん」
「やあ、カメさん」

そんな挨拶はなかった。
これは童話ではないのだから。

危険を感じ、蟹は逃げた。
あやうく亀に踏み潰されるところだった。

「カメさん、足もと見てよ。危ないじゃないか」
「カニさん、いたのか。そんなところにいるのが悪い」

そういう会話はなかった。
これは寓話ではないのだから。

蟹は水辺から離れた。
亀は水の中に入っていった。

「それだけ？」
「つまんない」

そんなことを言ってはいけない。
これは笑い話ではないのだから。

At the Water's End

A crab crawled along the water.
A turtle came over there.

"Hi, Mr. crab."
"Hi,Mr. turtle."

There was no such greeting.
Because this is not a fairy tale.

The crab felt dangerous and ran away.
It was about to be crushed by a turtle.

"Mr. turtle, look at your feet, it's dangerous."
"Mr. crab, you were bad of being in such a place."

There was no such conversation.
Because this is not a fable.

The crab is away from the water.
The turtle went into the water.

"That's all?"
"It's boring."

Don't say that.
This is not a funny story.
