浴室に置かれた天使の彫像に向かって
俺は立ち小便をしている。
彫像は砂岩できているのか
わずかな水圧でボロボロ欠けてしまう。
浴槽の縁には大男が腰を下ろして
熱心に黒い革靴を磨いている。
大男の足もとに天使の白い片翼が落ちた。
それを拾うつもりで屈んだら
なぜか大男に革靴の底で頬を撫でられた。
当然ながら俺の頬は汚れ
さらに水を掛けられてズボンの裾が濡れた。
こいつ、なにをするのだ。
怖そうな相手だが許しておけない。
報復するのは良いことだ。
悪意に対して善意で応えていては世の中
乱れないまでも歪むばかりである。
おそらく殴り返されるであろう。
あるいは殺されるかもしれない。
それでも俺は天使の片翼で殴ってやる。
そして、裏返った声で怒鳴ってやるのだ。
「やられたらやり返して、なにが悪い！」
自作自演。
The Angel's One Wing
I stand and piss at the angel statue
in the bathroom.
The statue is made of sandstone,
or it is broken by a slight water pressure.
On the edge of the bathtub,
a large man sits down
and brushes black leather shoes eagerly.
The angel's white wing fell
at the feet of the great man.
When I succumbed to pick it up,
somehow the big man stroked my cheek
with the soles of leather shoes.
Naturally, my cheeks were dirty,
and the hem of my pants was wet
with more water.

I'm scared but I can't forgive him.
It is good to retaliate.
Responding to bad faith in good faith
will only distort the world
even if it is not disrupted.
Perhaps he will beat me back.
Or he might kill me.
Still, I will hit him with one wing of the angel.
And I yell at the inside out.
"If you do, I will return and what's wrong!"
