ふと思い出した。
（そうだ、忘れていた。
夏になったら海へ行くのだった）
趣味のスライドショー動画制作のため
海の風景写真を撮りに行くと
もう冬のうちから決めていたのだ。
これまで川や池の画像で誤魔化していたが
どうにも我慢ならないものがあった。
その動画のやがて原作となるであろう話を
ブログに投稿してから出かけたかったが
ちっとも浮かばないので諦めた。
とにかく海へ行こう。
投稿なんぞ帰ってからだ。
それで県内の地図帳とコンデジを持って
昼になる前に出かけたのだった。
サングラスと帽子とデイパック。
これにニッカポッカとTシャツなら
普段の買い物と同じ格好。
今回はTシャツの代わりに
網目生地の黒いノースリーブで決める。
ただし、実際に決まったかどうかは知らない。
とにかく、蒸し暑いのはきらいだ。
スイカで最寄駅の自動改札を通り抜け
いくつか電車を乗り換え、約1時間半。
下車駅から歩いて30分ほどの海岸に到着。
九十九里浜の端っこの砂浜。
一般の海水浴客は少なく、むしろサーファーが多い。
夏休みに入ったものの平日なので
華やかな水着姿を撮る楽しみは期待できない。
しかし、海を撮るには好都合。
太平洋は20年ぶりだろうか。
実家のある日本海も10年以上見ていない。
波の迫力、さすが海である。
池や川の波が下手な特撮に見える。
ここにも例の津波の被害はあったはずだが
あまり具体的に感じられなかった。
だが、海岸浸食により多くの海水浴場が閉鎖になった
というニュースを帰宅直後、たった今見つけた。

Let's Go to the Sea
I remembered it suddenly.
(Yes, I forgot.
I went to the sea in summer. )
I had already decided to take a picture of the seascape
to make a slideshow video for my hobby from winter.
Until now,
the images of rivers and ponds have been misleading,
but there were things that I could not stand.
I wanted to go out after posting a story
that would eventually become the original of the video
on my blog, but gave up because it never came up.
Let's go to the sea anyway.
I only need to post when I return.
So, I went out before noon with my prefecture's atlas
and compact digital camera.
Daypack with sunglasses and hat.
If I wore a knickerbocker and a T-shirt,
it would look the same as usual shopping.
This time, instead of a T-shirt,
I decide on a black sleeveless mesh fabric.
However, I do not know if it was actually decided.
Anyway, I don't want to be sultry.
At Suica, go through
the automatic ticket gates of the nearest station,
transfer some trains, about 1.5 hours.
I arrived at the beach about 30 minutes
on foot from the station.
The sandy beach on the edge of Kujukuri Beach.
There are few ordinary bathers, but more surfers.
Even though it was a summer vacation,
it is a weekday, so I can not expect
the pleasure of taking a gorgeous swimsuit.
However, it is convenient for photographing the sea.
Is the Pacific Ocean
the first time in 20 years for me?
I haven't seen the Sea of Japan where my parents live,
for more than 10 years.
The force of the waves, truly the sea.
Ponds and river waves look like bad special effects.
There should have been
the damage of the tsunami here,
but I didn't feel very specific.
However, I just came across the news
after returning home
that many beaches were closed due to coastal erosion.
