ゆらゆら川面に ゆれまする。
暗い細道 よどんだ川と添い寝して
うねうねと 生臭くも 曲がりおる。
こちらへどなたか いらっしゃる。
にやにや 耳まで裂けた そのお口。
会ったが不運 巷で噂の 口裂け女。
けっして 目を合わせちゃ なりません。
ぎりぎり 道の端を 歩きましょう。
すれ違いざま あなたの腕が
女の鱗の肌に 触れまする。
ぞぞぞっと 背筋の凍る 冷たさよ。
あなた 思わず 振り返る。
女のねじれ首 こちらを見ておりまする。
蛇の目らんらん 蛇の目傘。
舌がちろちろ 赤く赤く 燃えあがる。
いけない。いけない。もう歩けない。
びくっとも 動けない。
げこげこ どうにも逃げられない。
まるで 石の蛙に なったよう。
ぽつり ぽつり またぽつり
冷たい雨つぶ 落ちてくる。
Snake Path
A hazy moon sways on the surface of the river.
A dark alley, lying side by side with a stagnant river,
bends in a fishy way.
Someone is here.
That mouth with a ripped ear while laughing.
It's your bad luck to meet her,
she's the rumored woman with her mouth torn.
You should never make eye contact with her.
Walk on the very edge of the road.
As you pass each other,
your arm touches her scaly skin.
A shivering chill down your spine.
You look back involuntarily.
Her twisted neck is watching you.
Janome umbrella with wide open snake eyes.
