親しくもない女と電車に乗ったのだ。
ただし、親しくなりたいほどの女ではあった。
ともかく女と電車に乗って立ち話をしていた。
すると、見知らぬ男が因縁をつけてきた。
私を無視して女に話しかける。
「こういうところでどういうつもりなのかね」
私と女の間にからだを割り込ませながら
よくわからないことを言う。
得体が知れず、まともに相手もできない。
やや逃げ腰になれば、男はかさにかかる。
「ほらね。こんな頼りないのと一緒ではね」
腹は立つが、争いたくない。
自信ある態度には罠がありそうで危険だ。
そういう判断は女にも共通なはず。
だが、はたで見る分には頼りなく、情けない。
女の表情が気にかかる。
おびえた様子はないが、それもまた心配。
二人の男を冷静に見比べているかもしれないからだ。

Man Interrupting
I got on the train with an unfamiliar woman.
However, she was a woman I wanted to get close to.
Anyway, I was talking with her on her train.
Then a stranger intervened in us.
He ignores me and talks to her.
"What are you going to do in this kind of place?"
He interrupts the body between me and her
and says something I don't understand.
He's unfamiliar and I can't really deal with him.
If I get a little runaway, he gets on with it.

with such an unreliable bastard."
I'm angry, but I don't want to contend with him.
