白いから石灰岩だろうか。
それは妙な形の石像なのだった。
婦人像らしいが、本体に溝が彫ってある。
その半分ほどの部品がスライド式にはまる構造。
組み合わせて目立たなければ悪くもないが
明らかに継ぎ目が露骨に見える。
どうしてこんな構造にしたのだろう。
その理由を鑑賞者に考えさせずにおかない。
案外、ただの失敗作かもしれないけどね。

Stone Statue with a Groove
Is it limestone because it is white?
It was a strangely shaped stone statue.
It seems to be a woman's statue,
but a groove is carved in the main body.
A structure in which about
half of the parts fit into a sliding type.
It's not bad if the combination isn't noticeable,
but the seams are clearly visible.
Why did the creator make such a structure?
I can't help but let the viewer think about the reason.
Unexpectedly, it may be just a failure.
