それに対して同年代であろう女が問う。
「結婚したから変わったのですか？」
「いいえ。離婚したから変わったのです」
話も変わって、別の部屋の壁に写真が飾ってある。
まるで展覧会の会場か写真館のよう。
この中に知人の写真が飾られてあるとのこと。
上下左右に首を動かしながら探す。
すると、肖像写真のように実物の男が立っていた。
似てないが、これがさきほどの離婚した男。
「君なら、これを差し上げるにふさわしい」
自転車の鍵らしきものをこちらに放り投げる。
それを素手で受け取る。
手触りで小さな拳銃のような形だとわかるが
まだ肉眼で確認できてないのが気がかり。

Kendo Difference
