草が生えているか砂利が敷かれているはず。
ところが、真っ白なものでおおわれている。
確認してないが、おそらく積雪だろう。
その前後、どちらかわからないが
室内の窓から降雪を眺めていた記憶がある。
また、やはり前後関係はあいまいだが
実家に帰ると兄が屋根の雪下ろしをしていた。
要するに、老いとか義理とかなんやかや
雪のように重く降り積もるものが
なんとなく心配なのだろう。

Heavy Snowfall
The place I visited was the bank of the river.

Also, the context is ambiguous,
but when I returned to my parents' house,
my brother was removing the snow from the roof.
