学校の体育館のようでもあり
職場の工場のようでもある。
休日に登校、または出勤している気分。
自然災害か戦争でもあったのか
建物内はひどく荒廃していた。
あるいは水没したのかもしれない。
水もないのになぜか、そんなことを思う。
二階の床の穴から階下へ下りる。
見知らぬ誰かが働いている。
壊れた機材を運び出そうとしている。
災害現場の復旧を急ぐ業者または職員であろう。
ご苦労様なことである。
扉を通り抜けた向こう側は広い部屋。
大勢の人たちが作業をしている。
いなければよいと思っていた上司がいた。
「なんでおまえがいるんだよ」
上司が呆れ顔で声をかけてくる。
「いやいや、とんでもない」
言いわけする内容もなくて変な返事をする。
そうそう。
上司のいない休日出勤は割と好きだったな。

Holiday Work
It is like a school gym,
