酒を飲んで宴会が始まっている。
親類縁者が集まっている状況からして

町内会の小旅行みたいな気分になっている。
そこへ不吉な知らせが入る。
本家の誰それが倒れたとのこと。
本家の老婆が酔って泣いている。
実家の母も酔ってぼんやりしている。
珍しいことだ。
どうも真実が見えない。
酔った勢いでデマが流れたのかもしれない。
そういえば、もうすぐ亡き母の四十九日である。
