前後を区別しない自転車みたいな
そんな乗り物に乗っていた気がする。
ともかく、周囲はそんな乗り物だらけだった。
枯れ葉が落ちるような動きをして
邪魔されたりして、うまく前へ進めない。
ついに転倒したのか、諦めて歩き始める。
ゆるい弧を描きながら、なだらかな階段を上る。
小学生らしい女の子たちが大勢しゃがんでいる。
学校の遠足の途中休憩だろうか。
彼女たちは輪ゴム飛ばしに余念がない。
それもカラー輪ゴム。
指だけでなく、定規など道具も使い
水鉄砲みたいに撃ち合っている。
どうやら今、この小学校では
輪ゴム飛ばしが流行っているらしい。
じつに楽しそうだ。
僕へ向けて撃ってくれないものかな。
