電車に乗っている。
どうやら帰宅の途中らしい。
なぜか座席は外向き。
車窓へ顔を向けて座っている。
ぼんやり考え事。
前を見れば、印象に残らない景色が横に流れる。
私は思い出す。
「ああ。今、電車に乗っているのだ」と。
隣の座席には会社の同僚などもいたかもしれない。
そろそろ乗換駅に到着するはず。
「寝過ごしてはならないぞ」と自戒する。

Outward Train
I am on a train.
Apparently it seems I am on my way home.
Seats are outward for some reason.
I'm sitting with my face facing the window.
Vaguely thoughtful.
Looking forward, the scenery which does not remain
in the impression flows sideways.
I recall.
"Oh, now I am on the train."
There may have been a colleague of the company
in the seat next to me.
It should arrive at the transfer station soon.
"I should not overslept"
I am self-sustaining.
