なにか理由あってマンションの門の近く
建物の角のところに腰かけている。
ただし、理由は思い出せない。
角のところの住人が気づき、話しかけてくる。
「やあやあ、理事長。ご苦労様です」
管理組合の経理担当役員の中国人の男だ。
下手な日本人よりよっぽど頼りになる。
挨拶程度らしいので、適当に返事する。
奥さんのシルエットもカーテン越しに見える。
それから、賃貸住まいの老婆がやってきた。
長男の嫁、スウェーデン人らしいが
お椀を髪染めに使うとかで、堪らず独居している。
「こんな書類が来て、ランプとヒューズの代金を
請求されたんだけど、払わにゃいけませんかね」
「ああ、それは払わなければいけませんね」
それを具体的に説明するため、物置小屋へと急ぐ。
若干、その内容とは異なるものの、そこに
交換用の蛍光灯とグローランプが置いてあるのだ。
