久しぶりの印刷工場である。
ここはシール物の抜き部門。
昔は刃を埋めた木の板で打ち抜いていた。
今はNCと呼ぶのか、数値制御された
針のようなドリルで切るように抜いている。
従業員の姿はない。
はて、休憩時間だろうか。
完全自動化されたわけではない証拠のように
機械の近くにみかんの皮が置いてある。
いくつも無造作に置いてある。
なんてみっともない。
ゴミの放置としか思えない。
どうして片づけないのだろう。
指導する監督上司がいないのだろうか。
まさか、みかんの皮を作業に使うわけは････
どうも納得できない。
それはさておき、ドリルの動きが興味深い。
無駄なく正確に抜き位置を制御している。
なかなか見飽きない。
ところが、異変が起こった。
気づかないうちに指で触れてしまったらしい。
注目していたドリルの一本が
不意に留め具から外れて動きを止めた。
それをセンサーが感知したのか
ベルトコンベア全体が止まってしまった。
わあ、大変だ。
なんとかしなければ。
このままでは制御できない損害が
自動拡大してしまう。

Orange Peel
I am in the printing factory after a long absence.
