担任の教師が急ぎ足で通り過ぎた。
同級生たちも急ぎ足でやって来た。
「どうしたんだ？」
「どうしたもこうしたもない」
やはり通り過ぎようとする。
「教えろよ」
「学校が崩壊するんだ」
おれも合流して急ぎ足になった。
「いわゆる教育現場の崩壊？」
「違う。校舎が壊れる」
「どうして？」
「知るか」
おれは立ち止まった。
同級生たちは廊下の角を曲がって消えた。
どうしたというのだろう？
みんな急ぎ足だったが、駆け足ではなかった。
ただの避難訓練か？
それとも、まさか予知能力？
わけがわからない。
もう校舎には誰も残っていないようだ。
仕方がない。
おれはバッグを開き
手製の時限爆弾を取り出した。
