あの人から電話があった。
本日投稿した記事についての問い合わせだ。
あまり深く考えずに返事をする。
「ええと、あれは『砂糖ちゃん』だったかな」
「わかりました」
それだけで解決したようなので、あわてる。
「いや、ちょっと待ってよ。違うかも」
今日やったことが思い出せない。
記録したノートを読み返せばわかるはずだ。
だが、そのノートが見当たらない。
そも、ノートなんかに記録してたっけ？
どうも確信持てない。
ただ右往左往するばかり。
大切な人を電話口に待たせて申し訳ない気分。
