命の残骸とでも呼べるこれらを毎日のように食べている。
奥歯に挟まった罪悪感のようなものがなくもない。
それとは別に手作業をしていた。
狭い溝の奥を棒で擦って掃除していたのだ。
すると、そこからヒラメらしき魚が滑るように現れた。
それを指でつまんで持ち上げる。
すでに二枚におろされている。
なのに生きている証拠のようにピクピク動く。
切り口で私の指を噛まんとしているかのよう。
切断面にいくつもの黒い棘が見える。
まるで獣の牙のようでもある。
Flatfish Life
Thinking about life.
As a concrete image, fish fillets.
I eat these everyday, which I can call life debris.
There is a kind of guilt
that has been trapped in the back teeth.
Apart from that, I was doing manual work.
I was rubbing
with a stick to clean the back of the narrow groove.
Then a fish like flatfish appeared to slide from there.
I pinch it up and lift it.

I can see several black brows on the cutting surface.
It's almost like a fang of a beast.
