ここはダンス教室。
四方がガラス張りになっている。
その外側にもガラス戸がある。
部屋の中に箱のような部屋がある感じ。
まるで二重構造の温室のよう。
その中で女の子たちが踊っている。
外側のガラス戸は開いている。
今、そこから飼い猫が一匹、入ってきた。
部外者が内側の部屋に侵入するのを防ぐのが
おれに与えられた仕事のようだ。
猫は内側の部屋の床下に潜った。
腹這いになって覗くと、向こう側まで見える。
そこにおれと同業の女の足が見えた。
「そっちへ行ったぞ」
なんとか猫を捕まえて外へ放り出した。
生徒さんたちが猫をかまうと
ダンスの練習にならないからな。
