するかしないか

それをするかしないかという判断は　
その人の生き方の問題だと思う。

下世話（げぜわ）な損得だけではない。

それをしないことによって失うものは　
それをすることによって失うものより
必ずしも多いとは言えまい。

リスクはどちらにもある。

また、死を避けることが絶対命題でもない。
遅かれ早かれ、どうせ死ぬのだ。

それをする前にもっとすべきことがあるはず。
それをせずしてなにをか言わんやだ。

Whether to Do or Not

I think the decision to do it or not is
a matter of the person's way of life.

It's not just low-grade gains and losses.

You don't necessarily lose more by not doing it
than you lose by doing it.

There are risks in both.

Nor is it an absolute proposition to avoid death.
Sooner or later we will die anyway.

We should have more to do before doing it.
Don't say anything without doing it.
