夢の舞台

大ホールにて舞台役者の表彰式があった。
おれも役者の端くれとして参加。

受賞者たちの喜びの表情がまぶしい。
と言うか、妬（ねた）ましい。

大舞台の主役か準主役が対象のようだ。
そりゃそうだよな。

中舞台なら主役に限る。
小舞台なんか観てももらえない。

個性的な端役（はやく）なんざ、飾りに過ぎない。
ましてや、場末のちんけな舞台ではな。

ちょっと期待してたが、思い知らされただけだ。

帰って寝よう。
それでも夢の舞台で演じ続けなければならん。

Dream Stage

There was an award ceremony
for the stage actors in the large hall.

I also participated as an actor.

The expressions of joy of the winners are dazzling.
I mean, I'm jealous of them.

It seems that the protagonist
or quasi-protagonist of the big stage is the target.
That's right.

If it is a middle stage, it is limited to the leading role.
No one can see the small stage.

A unique bit part is just a decoration.
Not to mention the poor stage at the end of the scene.

I was expecting a little, but I was just reminded.
