演劇らしき、その千秋楽を終えての
打ち上げに参加しているような感じなのだ。
あるいは、その宴会での余興だったかもしれない。
舞台の下手から坂道を上るように登場しつつ
団員たちにねぎらいの言葉を述べる。
「いやあ、みんな良かったよ。
これまでは稽古だったが、最後は自信をもって
観客からお足をいただけるレベルに達していたね」
皆も同感しているらしき反応。
自分は役者ではなさそう。
おそらく、原作者か演出家のような立場なのだろう。
「うん。それから、こんな意見もあったんだ」
団員の男が引き続いて発言する。
残念ながら、それを聞き終える前に
宴たけなわの会場から出てきてしまった。
若い人たちはアラがあって未塾ではあるけれども
とにかく改善し続けるであろう活気がある。
苦労するだろうが、なんとかなるかもしれないな。
そんな甘ったるい予感。
自作自演。
The Prime of the Banquet
It's like a play, and I feel like I'm attending
a banquet after the final episode.
Or it could have been a sideshow at the banquet.
As I appear up the slope from the bottom of the stage,
I say my words to the members.
"Well, everyone was good. It used to be a lesson,
but at the end you were confident that
you were able to get paid by the audience."
A reaction that seems to be the same for everyone.
I don't seem to be an actor.
Perhaps I'm in the position
of an original author or director.
"Yeah. Then there was such an opinion."
A member of the group continues to speak.
Unfortunately,
I came out of the prime of the banquet venue
before I finished listening to it.
Young people are sloppy and unschooled,
but they are lively
and will continue to improve anyway.
They will have a hard time,
but they may be able to manage.
I have such a sweet feeling.
