貸本屋で漫画本を探していた。
店番の女の子も手伝ってくれたりで
借りたい本が５冊ほど見つかる。
そのリストをポケット英和辞典にメモする。
別の貸本屋をもう一軒まわってから帰りに借りよう。
なぜかそう決めて店を出る。
別の貸本屋は下り坂の途中にあるはずなので
それらしい家の玄関に入る。
ところが、あまりにも古いあばら家である。
ミイラの老人でも住んでいそう。
不審に思い、その家から出る。
振り返ると、まったく貸本屋らしくない。
さらに下り坂の道が続く。
より急な坂の脇道をに入ろうとするが
学生が列をなしているので、しばらく待つ。
誰もいなくなった頃合いに駆け足で坂道を下る。
途中、別の貸本屋は坂道の上にあったことに気づく。
いったいなにをやっておるのだ。
立ち止まり、ウンザリしながら引き返す。
一房のブドウが道の真ん中に落ちていた。
それを拾うが、しなびて食えそうもない。
道端の杉の木に投げつける。
すると、幹に当たってブドウの汁が飛び散り
向かいから近づく女の人に雨のように降り注ぐ。
下着が透けるほど白いブラウスを濡らしてしまった。
これはいけない。
あわてて駆け抜け、四つん這いになって坂道を逃げる。
だが、あまりにも急な角度に坂道が傾斜し始めたため
どうにもこうにも前へ進めない。
背後に近づく人の気配。

Another Book Rental Shop
I was looking for a comic book at a book rental shop.
With the help of the girl in the store,
I can find about 5 books I want to borrow.
I write down the list
in the Pocket English-Japanese dictionary.
Let's go around another book rental shop
and then rent it on the way home.
For some reason I decided to leave the store.
Another book rental shop should be on the way downhill,
so I enter the front door of such a house.
However, it is a too old stall house.
Even an old mummy seems to live.
I feel suspicious and leave the house.
Looking back,
it doesn't look like a book rental shop at all.
Further downhill road continues.
I try to enter the side road of a steeper slope,
but I wait for a while because the students are in line.
When no one is gone, I rush down the slope.
Along the way, I noticed that
another book rental shop was on a slope.
What on earth am I doing?
Stop and turn back tiredly.
A bunch of grapes had fallen in the middle of the road.
I pick it up, but I don't think I can eat it.
I throw it at the roadside cedar tree.
Then, the juice of the grapes splatters
on the trunk and rains on the woman
approaching from the opposite side.
I got her blouse so white that
her underwear was transparent.
This shouldn't be.
I rushed through, crawl on all fours
and escape the slope.
However, the slope began to slope
at such a steep angle that I couldn't move forward.
I felt a sign of someone approaching behind me.
