なんとなくホテルの一室。
思い出せない何かを探していた。

水に濡れたクモの寄せ集めみたいな塊がある。
黒い脚みたいなのがもぞもぞ動く。

それをよく見ようと近づく。
頭から頬にかけて硬いものに触れた。

ヘビの開きとでも呼べそうな黒い干物。
どうも変なのばかりある。

おどかそうとして途中で意欲を失ったみたいな感じ。

Snake opening

三匹のヘビ

最初は会社オフィスにいたような気がする。
それから箱を抱えて帰宅したのだ。

箱の中には黒くて細長い三匹のヘビ。
テーブルから腕を伝って肩や頭の上を這う。

小さいこともあり、動きがコミカルでかわいらしい。
しかし我ながら、どういうつもりかと思う。

これらはなんの象徴だろう。

Three Snakes

At first I feel like I was in the office.

ペッパー水球

市営プールで仲間と遊んでいる。

誰かが合成紙で三角柱のボールを作り　
それで水球の真似事みたいなことを始めた。

ボールは水面に落ちた直後に微妙な動きをする。
まるで生き物のような面白い動きだ。

「ペッパー！ ペッパー！」
嬉しくなって、そんな歓声をあげてしまう私。

このような状況であげる歓声だと思っていたが
なぜか皆は当惑の表情を浮かべている。

どうやら私の思い違いだったようだ。

Pepper Water Polo

I'm playing with my friends in the municipal pool.
