狐の姿が草原に現われた。
犬どもが茂みから追い出したのだ。
「逃がすな！」
猟師が犬どもをけしかけ
六匹の犬が狐をとり囲んだ。
狐の退路は断たれた。
「お、お助けください」
狐が人の声で喋った。
猟師はもちろん、犬どもまで驚いた。
裸の女が倒れていた。
狐ではなかったのだ。
「さては化けたな」
猟師はだまされなかった。
荒縄で女の手足を縛った。
「殺さないでください」
「ええい、黙れ！」
猟師は獲物を担いで引きあげた。
猟師の家の土間に女は裸のまま座らされ
猟師は腕を組み、それを見下ろす。
女の姿では殺す気になれない。
だが、このままでは毛皮もはがせない。
「尻尾も隠してしまったな」
「そんなものありません」
女の目は吊り上った。
猟師の目は垂れ下がった。
「とりあえず、俺の嫁になれ」
その女を猟師は女房にしてしまった。
やがて、女は子どもを産んだ。
人の子ではなかった。
ただし、狐の子でもなかった。
犬の子であった。しかも六匹。
犬の子らはあっという間に大きくなり
すぐに猟師より大きくなってしまった。
それとも猟師が小さくなってしまったのか。
「逃がすんじゃないよ！」
けしかける女の声がした。
六匹の犬が猟師をとり囲んで吠えた。
猟師の退路は断たれてしまった。
思わず猟師は叫んだ。
「た、助けてくれ！」
それは人の声にならなかった。
断末魔の獣の声に似ていた。
その時、猟師は狐の姿を見たような気がした。
草原のはずれ、茂みの陰に。

Fox Hunting
A fox appeared on the meadow.
The dogs came out of the bushes.
"Don't let it escape!"
A hunter kicked the dogs
and six dogs took a fox and surrounded it.
The fox's withdrawal was broken.
"Please help me."
The fox spoke in a human voice.
Not to mention the huntsman, the dogs were surprised.
A naked woman was fallen.
It was not a fox.
"Well then you transformed."
The hunter wasn't deceived.
He bound the woman's limbs with rough rope.
"Please don't kill me."
"Yeah, shut up!"
The hunter went home with the prey.
In the ground of the hunter's house
the woman is sitting naked
and the hunter combines his arms and overlooking it.
As a woman, he doesn't feel like killing it.
But, as it's, he can't remove furs.
"Have you also hid the tail?"
"There is not such a thing."
The end of the woman's eyes hung.
The end of the hunter's eyes drooped.
"Tentatively, be my wife."
The hunter made that woman his wife.
Eventually, the woman gave birth to babies.
They weren't human beings.
However, they weren't even foxes.
They were puppies. And there were six.
The puppies grew quickly
and quickly became bigger than the huntsman.
Or did the hunter get smaller?
"Don't let it escape!"
The woman 's voice cried.
Six dogs took up the hunter and roared.
The hunter's retreat has been broken.
The hunter cried in spite of himself.
"Help me!"
It didn't make human voice.
It resembled the voice of the beast at the end.
At that time,
the hunter seemed to have seen the figure of a fox.
Out of the grassland, behind the bushes.
