クラリオン星の友人が地球にやって来た。

クラリオン星は五次元世界の惑星なのだそうだ。
太陽を挟んで地球と点対称の独立した軌道をとっている。
太陽が邪魔して、地球から見ることはできない。
クラリオン星人の外見は、ほとんど地球人と変わらない。
ただ、地球人よりほんのちょっと進化しているらしい。
偉そうな学者たちがそう言うのだから
とりあえず信じてあげてもいいかな、と僕は思っている。
「最近、そっちで流行ってるゲームはなんだい？」
「そうだね、地球侵略モノかな」
「流行ってる食べ物は？」
「地球人の踊り喰い」
「ははは。冗談きついな」
「まあね。ほんのクラリオン･ジョークさ」
彼････といっても半霊半物質体で両性具有なんだけど
その彼を観光案内したり、一緒に食事したり寝たりして
僕はできるだけもてなしてやった。
彼がクラリオン星に帰る日が来た。
「また、いつでもおいでよね」
「ありがとう。楽しかったよ」
僕は彼に手を振った。
彼は僕に足を振った。
僕たちは笑った。
