曇り空の下、川が流れている。
山の中、沢の崖下みたいな場所。
小さな洞窟がある。
窪んでいる程度、大して奥行きはない。
男女のグループがいて、人数は４人。
洞窟の中でなにやら捜索している様子。
「雨が降りそう。もう帰りましょうよ」
若い女が言う。
「まだだ。するべきことが終わってない」
老人は作業を続ける気配。
その時、地響きが始まった。
地震か。地滑りか。
崖が崩れたらしい。
洞窟の出入り口を土砂が塞ぐ。
完全に埋まったわけではない。
だが、今すぐ外に出るのは危険だ。
誰かの罠でないとも限らない。
