寒い冬の夜。
窓の外は吹雪。
でも、家の中は炬燵にストーブ、
春のように暖かい。
しみじみと幸せを感じていた。
すると突然、家の屋根が吹っ飛んだ。
どっと闇と雪と暴風に襲われた。
照明器具もなにもかも天井ごと持っていかれた。
呆気にとられた。
屋根を盗られた。
しくじった。
幸せどころか、不幸の天井知らずだ。
ところが突然、家の上に屋根が落ちてきた。
それは他人の家の屋根だった。
やはり吹き飛ばされてきたのだろう。
ご近所の長谷川さんとこの屋根かもしれない。
我が家の間取りにぴったりとは合わないが
それでもいくらか吹雪がしのげる。
やれやれ。
ありがたいことだ。

At Night of Snowstorm
Cold winter night.
Snowstorm blowing outside the window.
But in the house there are kotatsu and stove.

The roof was stolen.
I failed.

Suddenly, the roof fell on the house.
It was the roof of someone else's house.
It must have been blown away.
It may be the roof of Mr. Hasegawa's house
in the neighborhood.
It doesn't fit perfectly with my house,
