玄関には靴を履いたままの足首が並ぶ。
廊下を駆け抜けるカマイタチの群。
居間にいるのは
観用植物になった鉢植えの妹。
キッチンに入れば
冷蔵庫を齧るあさましき弟の姿。
浴室の窓からは
砂漠の砂が巧妙に侵食する。
浴槽に浮かぶのは
孫の手と祖父の腕であろうか。
父はいつも母に変装している。
家族は誰ひとり
生前の母を知らない。
家の奥には開かずの寝室がある。
真夜中
そこで肩を叩かれる。
そこには
肩を叩く者も
肩を叩かれる者も
いないというのに。
House without Hope
Abandon all hope, ye who enter this house.
