宝くじ売り場の横にしゃがんでる。
そんな老婆を見ていると
宝くじを買う気しなくなる。
金持ちになろうとは思わない。
貧しくなければそれでいい。
彼女にも若い頃があったろう。
美しい頃だってあったろう。
騙されたか裏切られたか
何があったか知らないが
悩ましい衣装で街角に
立ってた頃さえあったかも。
そんな女を見ていると
目を合わせるのが怖くなる。
しあわせになろうとは思わない。
不幸でなければそれでいい。

Know a homeless old woman.
She hides her face with a torn umbrella
and is squatting next to the lottery counter.
Watching such an old woman makes me
feel unwilling to buy lottery tickets.
I don't want to be rich.
I'm fine if not poor.
She would have been young.
She may have been beautiful.
I don't know if she was deceived or betrayed,
but she might have even been standing
on a street corner in sexy costumes.
When I look at such a woman,
I'm scared to see her.
I do not want to be happy.
