不思議な現象があるものだ。
僕が「好き」と言うと
彼女には「きらい」と聞こえるらしい。
調べてみたら、なるほど
そういう聞き違いやすい発音があるのだそうだ。
たとえば、人によって
「トッタノカヨ」が「エーアイアイ」に聞こえる。
または、犬の鳴き声「ワンワン」が
外国では「バウワウ」になったりする。
しかし、「好き」と「きらい」はないだろう。
音数だって明らかに違う。
試しに僕が「きらい」と言ってみると
彼女にはそのまま「きらい」と聞こえるらしい。
なんだそれは。
僕が彼女にきらわれているだけか。
Misunderstanding
There are strange phenomena.
When I say "like", it sounds like "dislike" to her.
Investigation shows that, indeed,
we have such a misleading pronunciation.
For example, "tottanokayo" is heard
as "a-eye-eye" by some people.
Or, the dog's cry “Wan Wan” becomes “Bow Wow”
in foreign countries.
But it will not be in "like" and "dislike."
The number of sounds is obviously different.
When I say "dislike" as a test,
she seems to hear "dislike" as it is.
What is that?
Is she just dislike me?
