船で渡っても、あんまり意味がないから。
同じ理由で、君が乗る船は空を飛び
君が乗る飛行機は地中を潜る。
しかしながら、それらにも深い意味はない。
自転車で虹を渡ろうと、衛星軌道を進もうと
ほんのちょっと奇妙な印象を与えるだけ。
そういう場所に宝は隠されていない。
子どもたちは喜ぶかもしれないが
大人たちは紛らわしさに困惑するばかり。
つまり、乗物とか移動手段なんか
なんだっていいのだ。
スプーンに乗ってスープ皿の上を
渡りたければ渡るがいいさ。
結局、どこにいてどうしていようと
君は君でしかないのだから。
